MFB is a woman owned and operated business, directed by a first generation flower farmer. Our small team is made up of creatives, hard working farmers and long time wedding industry professionals. Our mission? To bring sustainable flowers and high-quality floral designs together, making both accessible to all – while supporting our fellow farmers! We believe everyone deserves beautiful flowers, no matter the budget. We believe in supporting local businesses, especially Michigan farmers.
We have cultivated a diverse collective of local flower farmers, allowing us to design our arrangements with blooms that are all grown by over a dozen Michigan farmers! Plus we utilizes a mix of very talented freelance floral artists to work on our full service projects. We value community and respect the land that gives us nature to work with. We are proud to create a foundation that is able to evolve its services and offer our space to like minded humans.

We have thrown the traditional florist model out the window. There is no importing stems here. There is no ‘one size fits most’ design look that we’re producing for your wedding and another wedding next month. Our floral arrangements are a fresh take on a garden style design; creating flower focused events that are seasonally stunning. We never use harsh chemicals like floral foam, and other non-renewable junk in our work. So all of our arrangements are earth-friendly and *actually* sustainable, because that’s how working with flowers is meant to be. From fresh blooms to dried foliage, our designs utilize all parts of nature that are often overlooked, which allow us to create really stunning floral pieces just for you!

full service Floral Design
Our seasoned designers handle all of the flower designs! MFB will bring your floral vision to life, using sustainable and seasonal ingredients. We start with a phone consultation then provide a custom proposal. After you book us with a deposit, we will chat design details and create a custom mood board including a color palette and visions to bring your big picture to life! Our team will also communicate with your venue coordinator or event planner to provide a cohesive event design for your celebration, considering every detail. On your big day, we are on-site setting up all of your arrangements, creating installations and ensuring every flower detail is perfect. You can relax, celebrate your love with peace of mind that you’ll have a picture perfect wedding!
Our 2025 full service package requires a starting floral budget of $5,000, with our full service labor fee being an additional 15-30% of your package total. Event locations outside of the 100 mile radius of Lansing will require an additional travel fees.
design & pickup
We design your pieces and you pickup! Send us your floral inspiration, Pinterest board, or palette. Let us know what wedding flower pieces you need and our designers will create a custom mood board for your florals, then we design all of your arrangements! Each floral arrangement comes ready to transport, in clear glass vases, so you can simply unpack and setup. It is recommended that the arrangements are picked up the day before or the morning of your event.
We design with what is in season, creating lush, garden style floral pieces. This package includes centerpieces, wedding party pieces and wearables, with the option to add on DIY installation kits and/or DIY buckets of blooms.
This option requires a minimum order of $500. Design and Pickup is not eligible for shipping or delivery and installation. Installation pieces include anything that is hung, attached to or suspended and full garland.

Our buckets of wholesale flowers and foliage are perfect for anyone comfortable with the DIY approach to their floral designs. Select your color palette and how many buckets you’ll need – our designers pull together a cohesive mix of beautiful, local blooms and greenery ready to design with! Simply pickup your bucket order from MFB, the flower magic is up to you! Seasonal availability for our fresh-cut DIY bloom orders is May – mid October.
Please note: Michigan flower and foliage variety is very limited from May to June, as our season is just getting started. We do not offer delivery for this option.
