Beaverland Farms is a 3.8 acre urban farm built on reclaimed vacant lots on the west side of Detroit in Brightmoor. Established in 2015, our farm is rooted in regenerative agriculture and the hopes of creating systems that are economically and environmentally resilient to add stability and security to our neighborhood and larger metropolitan community. We manage resources available to other farmers in our community like the community greenhouse, tool bank, and community fridge which offers free food to anyone in need. We currently offer flowers, produce, and pasture-raised chicken. We are a female managed and operated farm working towards a co-operative model which offers our crew a platform to build their own enterprises within Beaverland Farms.
Michigan Flower Barn is a wholesale flower company that supports local farmers in Michigan, and across the US. We are committed to providing an inclusive space in our creative community while supporting fellow entrepreneurs. Our mission is to improve the standard of the fresh cut-flower industry with reducing the carbon footprint by making sustainable flowers accessible to everyone, and support our local economy.
