About Astrantia
Astrantia, sometimes called masterwort, produces small starry flower heads surrounded by a collar of pointed bracts. Up close the detail is remarkable, like tiny bouquets on every stem.
It is a shade-tolerant perennial in the carrot family, long favored in cottage gardens and cutting beds, as described on its Wikipedia page.
Its muted, romantic colors and fine texture make it a wedding favorite, and it dries beautifully for lasting arrangements as well.
