About Sweet Rocket

Sweet rocket, or Hesperis, produces branching stems topped with loose clusters of small, four-petaled flowers in lavender, purple, and white. Its scent grows stronger in the evening, filling the air with sweetness.

Also known as dame’s rocket, it is a member of the mustard family long grown in cottage gardens, as noted on its Wikipedia page.

Its tall, airy stems and gentle fragrance make sweet rocket a lovely choice for garden-style spring arrangements and a bridge between the early bulbs and full summer.
