The Farmer's Notes
10-stems, long stems, 1–3" wide globes take on a steel-blue hue as they mature.
I took these pictures on 7-13. Flowers are just starting to blue and will get bluer each day. For more info, see https://www.johnnyseeds.com/flowers/echinops-globe-thistle/ritro-echinops-seed-4781.html
About Echinops
Echinops, the globe thistle, is one of those flowers people stop to touch. Each stem holds a perfect steel-blue sphere, spiky and geometric, that brings cool color and architectural punch to any bouquet.
