The Farmer's Notes
Important Note: A very late frost took out the center bud on some of my Raspberry Sundae peonies. As a result, only the side bud(s) remained viable. They have the same great smell, but the side bud(s) open smaller than a regular Raspberry Sundae, and it’s more of a supporting flower rather than a focal flower.
5 stem bunch, at least 15 inch stems
These peonies are darling 4" peonies with a pink layer, a cream layer, and a drizzle of raspeberry sauce on top!
Peonies are dry stored in soft bud stage (marshmallow). Any purchased will be trimmed and placed in water Tuesday night to begin the opening process. They will still be in my cooler though.
