The Farmer's Notes
10 stems, stems approximately 18-20”
Introducing the petunia designed for cutting! Frilly and flouncy, this mostly double mix includes a mix of lavender, white, and purple shades. An old fashioned charmer with a twist!
Stems are a bit “tacky” feeling, but there is no sap. They seem to blossom from the bottom up, so I am trying not to harvest until a bud is open in the top third of the plant. Expect only 1-2 bud open although sometimes other buds will open also.
About Petunia
Few plants pour out color like the Petunia, its trumpet blooms cascading nonstop from containers and beds all summer long, a Michigan porch and garden staple.

Hello Flower Friends! I'm Alicia with Stone Oak Farm in beautiful Metamora, MI! I am passionate about growing farm fresh flowers and adding beauty and color to our world. From the fancy narcissus to the romantic peony to the ever-delightful dahlias to the workhorse snapdragons and ageratum filler, I don't think there is a flower that I haven't met and swooned over!
I share our little farmette with my husband Jim, our dog Glory, two cats, three horses (my other lifelong passion), and a couple of milk cows. Are we busy? Yes! Are we blessed! Yes! Would we live any other way? No!
