We fill buckets with a bulk seasonal mix of fresh blooms and greenery. Figure out how much you’ll need, we put together your buckets – pick up at our farm and DIY your florals!

DIY Buckets of Blooms
Pricing, what’s in a bucket, and other things to consider
What’s in a bucket?
Each 3-gallon bucket is filled with 70 seasonal stems — roughly 1/3 focal blooms, 1/3 filler, and 1/3 foliage, curated by our design team. One bucket gives you enough stems for about 6 small centerpieces (quart jar size) or 1 large bouquet + 2 small bouquets.
Stems come pre-processed and sorted by type in our floral buckets, ready to work with. You’ll also get a care guide to help you keep everything looking its best.
Be realistic and plan!
DIY arrangements are a lot of work. This is a great fit if you’re the crafty type and have a team to help. Plan for a full day of arranging flowers before your event. If you’re getting married, make a week-of timeline for the floral pieces, a DIY order should be picked up 2 days before the wedding.
Seasonal flowers are going to give you the wildflower vibes, but always require flexibility — if you have a very specific flower vision (like all white roses only), this isn’t the right path. If you love garden-inspired, texture-rich florals and are open to a mix of flower types (not a big-box store look) you’ll be thrilled!

How it works
Share your floral inspiration — a Pinterest board, color palette, or just a vibe. We’ll schedule a quick chat to go over your design needs and event details. After booking, we create a custom mood board for your floral arrangements. You’ll also get flower care guide to help keep everything looking its best.
The week of your event, our team designs all your pieces using our peak blooms grown from our farmer collective. Everything is designed in clear glass vases, packed for transport by our team. You pick up 1-2 days before your event, take to your venue and set up.
What you can order
Centerpieces, wedding party bouquets, wearables (boutonnieres, corsages), and you can add on DIY installation kits and/or DIY buckets of blooms to supplement.

The complete floral experience, from consultation to curation
The full experience
We start with a phone consultation to understand your vision, then provide a custom floral proposal. After booking with a deposit, we discuss more details from vase styles to curated accents, then create a detailed mood board for all of the pieces. We coordinate directly with your venue and event planner to handle logistics and set up.
On your big day, our team handles everything — delivery, on-site setup, installations, and making sure every detail is perfect. You get to focus on enjoying the celebration.
What this covers
All arrangement types including installations — arches, garlands, hanging pieces, and any suspended or attached florals. Plus all the standard pieces: bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony arrangements, and wearables.
$5,000 minimum investment. Limited spots each season. This is our first package to fully book — inquire early. We utilize a small team of talented freelance floral artists for our full-service clients.

Important to note about MFB
We operate seasonally
We work with Mother Nature and what grows in MI, our fresh-cut flowers are available from May through early October. Outside of the growing season, we offer dried flower options. When winter comes we hibernate (jk this work is a year round thing).
Open by appointment
MFB is on a fully operating farm, so we’re open by appointment only. For DIY Blooms and Design & Pickup customers, orders are picked up at our barn in Perry, MI — 30 minutes from Lansing/Flint, 1 hour from Grand Rapids.
